Violin Set - What are the advantages?
Our violin set contains almost everything you need to play the violin.
Besides the robust carbon fiber violin, the standard version includes the Glasser 2000X Violin Bow and the violin case including a backpack. In addition to this basic equipment, you will also need rosin to make the bow hairs sound. The bow rosin ensures that the bow hairs stick to the strings. Especially in the beginning, tuning the violin by ear is very difficult. For this reason, the Glasser Carbon violin set includes a tuner that can be easily attached to the violin body. The tuner can also be used as a metronome. After each playing, we advise cleaning the violin and the bow from dirt and dust with the microfiber cleaning cloth.
In order not to tire too quickly from playing the violin, we recommend booking the shoulder rest with the violin set. Especially for musicians who quickly jump between instruments, the violin stand is ideal.
In which sizes is the violin set available?

The children's violin including the case is available in sizes ½ and 3/4. From an age of about 11 years and/or an arm length of more than 60 cm, we recommend the 4/4 violin.
Can the violin set be individualized?

Each violin set can be individualized. Besides the color (black/brown) also the bow (2000X carbon graphite violin bow, Braided Carbon Fiber violin bow) can be customized according to the playing level. A CodaBow bow can also be added upon request.

What is special about the carbon fiber violin and the carbon fiber bow set?

Carbon fiber violins and carbon fiber bows are distinguished by their higher durability. The violin and bow are best suited for outdoor use, outdoor festivals, or turbulent orchestra rehearsals.
The stringed instruments are weather-resistant - humidity and temperature differences only affect the strings and bow hairs. At least the problem with the bow hairs can be easily solved if you choose a bow with synthetic hairs. Small and large violinists need do not be afraid if the bow or even the violin slips out of their hands.
As with any material, however, carbon fiber violins and bows are not indestructible. The maintenance of carbon fiber violins and bows is much lower. Perfection Pegs pegs, in particular, require very little maintenance and are therefore becoming increasingly popular among violin makers.
