"Born To Be Child" is the brand new fourth studio album of the "Feuerbach Quartett".
On it, the "Feuerbach Quartett" dedicates itself to its childhood: the parents' favourite hits, the first song on the violin, the last song at the prom. They bring their musical reminiscences together and celebrate the soundtrack of their youth together:
An Azerbaijani folk song meets " Sultans of Swing" by the Dire Straits, Rammstein's "Angel" meets Beethoven's "Eroica".
Marty McFly starts dancing when the film music of "Back to the Future" merges with Abba's "Dancing Queen". And when Michael Jackson's "Thriller" is introduced by the title song of "Ghostbusters", everyone feels reminded of the creepy nightmares of childhood.
The album was recorded in August 2019 at the Studio Bremen-Nord.

Choosing the right size and diameter
The perfection pegs are available for violin, viola and cello with different diameter.
To ensure the perfection pegs fit to your instrument, please measure the peg holes before you place your order.
Measure the diameter of all the peg holes
• To get an accurate measurement of the peg holes, remove the pegs and measure the diameter of all peg holes.
• To get an approximate measurement, leave the pegs in place and measure the diameter of the existing pegs with calipers.
• Select the Perfection pegs diameter that is just larger than the largest peg hole.
• For new instruments, the smallest Perfection pegs (7.8mm for violin) are usually suitable.
• Older instruments often have larger peg holes and require the larger pegs.

- The pegs must be installed on the correct side.
- The pegs have the usual taper (violin/viola 1:30, cello 1:25).
- The pegs have a self-tapping thread.
- The T pegs have a left-hand thread and the B pegs have a right-hand thread.
- The pegs are fastened by screwing the thread into the peg hole.
- The pegs come in standard lengths and must be shortened to fit your instrument.
Tuning your instrument with Perfection Pegs
Tuning of the instrument with Perfetion Pegs works almost like conventional pegs. By turning the peghead, the strings of the instrument are tuned. However, this works much more accurately with fine tuning pegs.
The Perfection Peg pegs have a planetary gear. The friction can be varied by pulling the peg head outward or pushing it inward.
If the peghead is pulled far out, the instrument can be tuned easily, but it will not hold as soon as you let go of the peghead.
If the peghead is pushed too far inward, the thread almost locks and the instrument can hardly be tuned.
To find the optimal point, the position of the peghead must be varied so that the instrument can be tuned easily and perfection peg gears hold.

The Leatherwood Rosin helps string players to become musically spoken the best possible self, depending on bow type, instrument quality, technique, and playing style.
The Rosin forms the link between the bow and the string. Its texture and stickiness have a decisive influence on the vibration. The right choice of rosin is crucial because rosin contributes significantly to the improvement of sound and response. The player must first be aware of which sound and response characteristics he wants to achieve, then he can choose the ideal rosin.
The two most popular rosins Leatherwood Rosin Supple and Crisp can be found in our shop.
Leatherwood Rosin Crisp
Crisp rosin offers a decisive attack, firm traction, and crisp sautillé, and an undeniable forthright sound through a glassier texture. It works well with an instrument that has a lot of resonance, but the sound is a bit vague, then the rosin leads to greater clarity and articulation. Sforzando accents are excellent to play. It provides clarity and a very direct sound. A clear and articulated spiccato or sautillé is easier to play.
Leatherwood Rosin Supple
This rosin supports the tone of deep and warm sounding instruments. For stringed instruments that are too loud, too bright, or one-dimensional the rosin helps to produce a softer and rounder sound. Seamless bow traction that feels velvety and rich produces a powerful and focused – even with a soft and light bow.
The Leatherwood rosin has been designed to match the physical characteristics of the various string instruments and bows of violin, viola, and cello. Therefore, in addition to Leatherwood Rosin Crisp and Leatherwood Rosin Supple you can also choose between violin, viola, and cello rosin.
